Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring for an Industrial Cleaner/Forklift position in Troy, MO. This is a 2nd shift role with potential for hire after a probationary period.

The role involves cleaning, safety compliance, 5S adherence, and basic forklift support as needed. Prior manufacturing or janitorial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work safely.

• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting as required.
• Reliable and punctual work habits.
• Previous industrial, manufacturing, or janitorial experience preferred.
• Familiarity with 5S, Lean, or basic visual work systems preferred.
• Experience working in automotive manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and production support tasks according to Work Instructions (WIS).
• Follow safety requirements including PPE, JHA guidance, and Lockout/Tagout awareness.
• Report hazards, unsafe acts, or equipment issues immediately.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and support 5S standards.
• Follow direction from Team Leader and Group Leader; ask questions when uncertain.
• Operate tools and equipment safely after training.
• Meet quality and productivity expectations for assigned tasks.
• Participate in shift huddles and safety discussions.
• Complete documentation and checklists as required.
• Support team success by helping others when assigned work is complete.
• Engage in continuous improvement ideas using SAVE concepts.
• Participate in training and skills development activities.
• Practice good attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain positive communication and teamwork.
