Job summary

Jl Schwieters Construction, Inc. is seeking reliable Production Assemblers for its wood manufacturing shop. You will help build walls, floors, trusses, stairs, and other components under a roof, using basic tools and measuring with a tape.

This is 2nd shift: 4:30 PM to 4:30 AM, Monday through Thursday. Wages start at $18.00 per hour with shift differential. Training is available for qualified candidates who can read blueprints, follow instructions, and operate nail guns.

Qualifications

• Candidate must read a tape measure.
• Experience in truss or panel assembly preferred.
• Willing to train the right candidate.
• Able to follow blueprints and drawings.
• Reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Assemble walls, floors, trusses, stairs under a roof.
• Use nail guns, table saws, and hand tools.
• Read and follow blueprints and measurements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Work 2nd shift: 4:30 PM–4:30 AM, Mon–Thu.

ASSEMBLERS NEEDED in our wood manufacturing shop.

JL Schwieters Construction/Building Supply Inc. is looking to hire reliable, hardworking, safe-minded Assemblers for its Manufacturing Facilities. The Production Assemblers are an invaluable part of the team ensuring production quotas are met while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. The Production Assembler’s strict attention to detail is what puts everything together.

Work in an open, bright, airy, and clean production atmosphere.

What will you be doing? Basically, you are framing under a roof. You will be working in a manufacturing setting, on your feet, building walls, floors, trusses, stairs, etc. You will be using basic tools, hand powered tools, table saws, tape measure, nail guns, and other miscellaneous shop tools.

The ability to read a tape measure is a must!

2nd Shift 4:30PM - 4:30AM Monday-Thursday

Wewould like to see candidates with Truss or Panel Assembly experience but are open to candidates with wall/floor assembly experience as well as candidates with framing experience. We arewilling to train the right candidateswho can do the following:

Wages start at $18.00 per hour plus shift differential.
