AMETEK, Inc. is hiring for a 2nd Shift In Process Inspector in Southington, CT. The role involves assembling and inspecting components, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality through basic inspection and tooling.

Training on 1st shift will precede the regular 2nd shift, Monday–Friday 3:30 PM–12:00 AM. Ideal candidates have a GED or high school diploma and at least 6 months in manufacturing, with strong math aptitude and the ability to follow instructions.

Formación

• HS Graduate or GED required.
• At least 6 months’ work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic mathematical aptitude.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic machining operations using assigned tools.
• Inspect parts using basic measuring tools and report out-of-tolerance issues.
• Maintain records and ensure cleanliness, safety and adherence to procedures.
• Read blueprints and specifications to assemble products accurately.
• Perform quality checks and document defects when found.
