Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring full-time Hospital Housekeepers at Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports hospital housekeeping in a medical environment, with a tentative schedule of 3:00PM - 11:30PM and a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays and pass necessary screenings. Daily duties include cleaning rooms and common areas, restrooms, corridors and lobbies; stocking supplies; and transporting waste.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial/housekeeping in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions in English.
• Annual influenza vaccination is required unless exempt.

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other areas.
• Dusts, polishes, washes and maintains fixtures and surfaces.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area; replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Cleans windows, walls, ceilings and woodwork; polishes metalwork.
• Operates and cares for equipment; ensures safety and cleanliness standards.
