22nd Century Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Safety Operator to support the Hose Assembly Value Stream. The role runs on the 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM) with mandatory OT.

Primary duties include ensuring quality and productivity for finished hose products and adhering to lean manufacturing and 5S practices. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with on-the-job training typically 1–8 weeks. Prior production experience is not required, but alertness and attention to detail are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• On-the-job training typically 1–8 weeks (may extend to 10 weeks).
• Constant alertness to surroundings and product quality with attention to detail.
• Production experience not required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure finished goods meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Identify and follow special instructions or customer requirements.
• Pull setup sheets to select tooling, dimensions, and drawings.
• Inspect tubing or hose prior to processing and check dimensions against drawings.
• Maintain accurate inventory and complete production reports.
• Pressure test hose assemblies and maintain quality records.
• Keep work area clean and follow 5S practices.
• Report any unsafe conditions or issues to the Value Stream Team Lead.
