Job summary

RRD is seeking a forklift operator for the 1st shift in Buffalo Grove, IL. The role involves operating equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage and supplying the Manufacturing Department with materials as needed.

You will stage products, rack supplies, and maintain inventory while performing routine hoist inspections, battery service tasks, and safety compliance. RRD offers a competitive hourly wage with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must know forklift dimensions and load capacity.
• Ability to plan space for doors/aisles to maneuver forklift.
• Experience moving loads in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage
• Supply Manufacturing Department with materials as needed
• Stage product to be moved or shipped
• Rack unused supplies and maintain inventory
• Transport and process manufacturing paper by-products
• Perform daily inspections on hoist and report maintenance needs
• May perform battery service duties such as inspecting, recharging and replacing batteries
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures including handling of hazardous waste
