Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Distribution Center in Duncan, Oklahoma. The role focuses on safe preventive and corrective maintenance for all Family Dollar Transportation equipment, including trailers and tires.

The candidate will perform repairs, inspections, and inventory tasks, while adhering to safety procedures and company policies. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required to ensure operational uptime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in heavy-duty commercial trailer maintenance.
• Must have a roll around tool chest and all hand tools to perform assigned mechanic’s work.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs to all systems of company trailers.
• Mounts and dismounts tires.
• Brands and inventories tires.
• Performs periodic equipment inspections and PM follow ups.
• Maintains an accurate parts inventory system.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work area.
• All other duties as assigned.
