Job summary

Bodycote in Santa Fe Springs, CA, is seeking a Heat Treating Technician. Based in Santa Fe Springs, the Heat Treater will perform essential job functions under the Foreman to meet customer specifications.

We offer three levels (Entry Level C, Mid-Level B, Senior Level A) with growth, a 2:00 pm–10:30 pm shift, and a pay range of $22–$32 per hour plus overtime eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance required: US Citizens or Permanent Residents.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read/write/communicate in English.
• Overtime or any shift, including weekends.
• Must obtain/maintain forklift operation certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work for processing; loads/unloads furnaces, bins, fixtures, etc.
• Reports unusual problems to supervisor.
• Practices and promotes safety and housekeeping.
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
• Care and treatment of customer inventory; perform duties safely to prevent loss.
• Must report for work on time, follow directions, interact with coworkers, and accept feedback.
