Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Environmental Services Manager for City of Hope in Duarte, CA. You will lead the Environmental Services team, liaise with hospital departments, and ensure the highest level of service and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include staff selection, scheduling, QA, orientation, and upholding Xanitos’ culture while driving performance. Vaccination and education requirements apply to healthcare roles.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an environmental services team in a healthcare setting.
• Healthcare EVS experience preferred.
• Flexible to work some differing shifts.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection; interview candidates as needed and schedule time off to meet account needs.
• Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment usage.
• Ensure staff receive orientation, training, and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to help staff perform to their fullest potential.
• Discipline associates when necessary following progressive disciplinary guidelines.
• Prepare and follow up on disciplinary reports and notices with Department Director guidance.
• Maintain an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Promote Xanitos’ culture, values, and management philosophy.
• Demonstrate quality leadership in meeting performance plans.
