Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking an HCT II Shift Supervisor at the J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center in Morganton, NC.

You will supervise Health Care Technician I staff, model care, and provide training and feedback to residents and staff. The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with resident daily living activities, and adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete required trainings (CPI, CPR, etc.)
• Experience providing daily living activities and personal care
• Good standing with NC Health Care Personnel registry preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hands-on supervision for HCT I's while with residents
• Model and assess performance; deliver feedback and coaching
• Supervise approximately 10 Health Care Technician I positions during shift
