Job summary

New England Wire Products (NEWP) in Leominster, MA, is seeking dedicated team members for packaging and spot-welding duties. You will stand for long periods, isolate nonconforming items, and help maintain a neat packing area as part of daily production.

Responsibilities include following packing requirements, assisting in safe receipt/storage, supporting QC review, and performing other duties as assigned to ensure product quality.

• Attention to detail is essential to isolate products not meeting quality standards.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external clients and suppliers.
• Self-motivation and team collaboration are important in a busy factory setting.

• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods is required.
• Ability to lift 5+ pounds when needed.

Responsibilities

• Stand on your feet for at least 8 hours a day.
• Isolate products which will not meet the established quality standards and send to QC team for review.
• Keep the packing area neat and organized at all times.
• Know and understand the packing requirements set by the supervisor and execute them properly.
• Assist in the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, warehouse control, and timely processing of productions and orders.
• Assist in ensuring quality in every aspect of the product.
• Other duties as assigned to the packaging and spot-welding departments.
