Job summary

Tyson Foods Forest, MS Poultry Plant is seeking a General Labor Team Member to perform a variety of entry-level production and support tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards. You may work in multiple departments based on operational needs and assist with material handling, cleaning, and documentation on the 2nd shift.

This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks and follow Tyson policies and food safety guidelines; no prior experience required, training provided.

Qualifications

• Entry-level general labor position; Tyson safety and food safety training provided.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift moderate weights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote Tyson Foods' safety culture at all times.
• Perform general production and labor duties as assigned throughout the facility.
• Support poultry processing, packaging, sorting, inspection, and product handling operations.
• Maintain product quality and food safety standards.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and production lines using approved cleaning methods and equipment.
• Operate basic hand tools and production equipment as authorized and trained.
• Complete required production records, logs, and documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production and safety concerns.
• Assist with material handling, product movement, and production support activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations.
