Job summary

Steele Solutions Inc. in South Milwaukee, WI seeks a General Labor professional for the 2nd shift to support painting, assembly, and material handling. You will load/unload parts, inspect for quality, and keep the line clean and safe while following all safety procedures.

Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, and ability to read a ruler or measuring tape is helpful. English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or other manufacturing equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and use a ruler or measuring tape.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts from the paint line.
• Inspect finished parts and prepare them for shipment.
• Perform daily quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Pack materials and products according to quality requirements.
• Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the plant, if certified.
• Assist with assembly line work as needed.
• Identify and report workplace hazards.
• Complete required paperwork, both electronically and on paper.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift.
