Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a 2nd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Selector in Springfield, Ohio, with a starting pay of $20.90 per hour, plus a second shift premium. This role requires working in varied temperatures and lifting heavy loads, but no prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.

2nd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Selector

Location: 4980 Gateway Blvd., Springfield, Ohio

Pay

Starting at $20.90 per hour plus $1 second shift premium. Additionally, earn two pay raises in your first year and more per hour for speed and efficiency.

Work Schedule

Sunday–Thursday start time is 6:50 p.m. – finish. With Fridays and Saturdays off.

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. The role involves working on your feet for 10 hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in our freezer. No experience is required – we provide training. Selecting is hard work, so we’ll pay you a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency – the better you perform, the more you earn. On average, our selectors take home 122% of their base salary.

• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed; holidays are very important to our customers.
• Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
