Job summary

MT. MORRIS CONSOLIDATED SCHOOLS in Mt. Morris, Michigan, seeks a dedicated Custodian for the MT. Morris Elementary 2nd shift. Beginning date is immediate with a rate of pay of $15.00/hour for a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and perform minor maintenance on building machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Keep building and premises neat and clean at all times, including, but not limited to classrooms, corridors, bathrooms, grounds, etc.
• Clear snow, ice, and debris from walks and steps as appropriate.
• Keep grounds free from rubbish.
• Move furniture or equipment within buildings as required for various activities and as directed by immediate supervisor.
• Maintain an awareness and comply with federal, state, local, district, and building policies, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
