Job summary

Buck Company LLC in Quarryville, PA is seeking a motivated 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced foundry environment. The role requires guiding daily operations with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement, within hours 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at 897 Lancaster Pike.

You will coach hourly workers, prioritize work, monitor equipment, and participate in recruiting and onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of foundry operations is a plus.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production activities to meet output, quality, and safety goals.
• Promote safety-first culture and enforce policies.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to hourly staff.
• Assign and prioritize work per schedules.
• Monitor equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Ensure proper training on job functions and safety.
• Participate in recruiting and onboarding.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
