Job summary

Vertical Cold Storage LLC in Dothan, AL is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Equipment Operator (2:30pm - 10pm) to join our team. The role focuses on operating Powered Industrial Vehicles, performing warehouse duties, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires prior warehouse experience and forklift use; strong math skills and customer-service orientation are a plus. We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401k

Qualifications

Prior warehouse/distribution experience desired.
Prior use of forklift and other motorized equipment preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Use strong math skills to count and multiply accurately.

Responsibilities

Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles to perform warehouse duties; forklift/power jack use.
Complete pre-use inspections and follow safe operating procedures.
Maintain inventory accuracy using scanners and document locations.
Stack, restack, wrap, and un-wrap pallets and cases per customer specs.
Place labels on cases or loads as required by specs.
Contribute to team efforts and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Meet attendance requirements and communicate effectively within the team.
