Job summary

Werner is hiring for a Warehouse position (2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday) in Appleton, WI. Starting wage is $21.00 per hour with PTO from day one, medical/dental/vision coverage, and a $1,000 starting bonus plus an annual bonus of $2,400.

Candidates should have 1–3 months related experience and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include reading orders, transferring materials, assembling customer orders, packing, counting, and maintaining inventory records.

Qualifications

• 1-3 months related experience required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge; able to use database, inventory, order-processing, and word-processing software.
• Regularly lift/move 50-75 pounds, occasionally 75-100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read orders and packing slips to determine items to move.
• Convey materials from receiving to storage or other areas.
• Assemble customer orders and place on pallets or shelves.
• Pack and verify customer orders and count items for distribution.
• Enter records into a computer and maintain stock integrity.
• Drive vehicle to deliver orders to customers.
• Maintain inventory records and facility cleanliness.
