Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Walton, KY is seeking a Forklift Operator to load/unload and move freight within a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate a forklift safely, use scanners, and cooperate with teammates to meet daily shipping goals.

Requirements include at least 1 year forklift experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to work overtime. We offer weekly pay, benefits, and growth opportunities in a family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically exerting tasks in a non-temperature controlled warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with safety policies.
• Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transports to designated areas.
• Check product on inbound/outbound for accuracy and damage.
• Use handheld scanners/equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly facility.
