Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services seeks experienced forklift operators to load/unload goods, move stock within a warehouse, and support safe, efficient operations. You will follow safety policies and use scanners to ensure accuracy, aiming for timely, accurate handling and transport of products. This role requires teamwork and reliability.

The position emphasizes physical tasks, overtime as needed, and adherence to safety regulations to maintain a high standard of warehouse performance.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically exerting tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Must pass a pre-employment drugScreening and background check.
• Must be able to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently according to safety policies.
• Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transports to designated areas.
• Check inbound/outbound items for accuracy and damage.
• Use handheld scanners for warehouse management system compliance.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Collaborate with other warehouse associates to stay productive.
• Keep the facility clean and orderly.
