Job summary

Vertical Cold Storage is seeking a 2nd shift Warehouse Equipment Operator in Dothan, AL. You will drive and use Powered Industrial Vehicles to perform warehouse duties, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Experience in warehouse/distribution is preferred; forklift use and other motorized equipment is desirable. Strong math skills and customer service experience are a plus, with a focus on teamwork and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse/distribution experience desired.
• Prior use of forklift and other motorized equipment preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Use strong math skills to count and multiply accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (e.g., forklift, power jack) to perform warehouse duties.
• Maintain certifications and follow safe work practices.
• Inspect and maintain material-handling equipment and perform pre-use checks.
• Use scanners and vehicle-mounted units to log inventory locations accurately.
• Package, label, stack, wrap, and restack pallets and cases per customer specs.
• Contribute to team efforts and communicate effectively within a team.
