Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking forklift operators for a full-time position on the 2nd shift from 3 P.M. to 11 P.M.

You will drive an industrial forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials on the plant floor. Responsibilities include positioning forks under pallets, unloading and stacking loads, and transporting materials to designated areas. Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED and prior forklift experience; lumber

Qualifications

• Must have previous forklift experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Lumber experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed
• Keeps record of inventory.
