Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking forklift operators for a full-time position with competitive pay and a full benefits package. 2nd Shift receives a $1.00 Shift Differential.

As a forklift operator, you will drive an industrial forklift to move products and materials, stack loads, and manage inventory on the shop floor. The role includes record-keeping and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have previous forklift experience.
• Lumber experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
• Position forks under, over, or around loads and transport them.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply materials as needed.
• Keep record of inventory.
