Job summary

Golden State Foods in Conyers, GA is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift to support high-speed packaging and processing lines. You will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial equipment to keep production running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC/motor controls, industrial electrical, welding, refrigeration, or mechanical repair.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in hot, wet, noisy environments.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment and support systems.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
• Perform repairs using power tools, welding equipment, test meters, and hand tools.
• Work with PLCs, motor circuits, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and electrical controls.
• Dismantle, inspect, and replace parts on packaging lines, conveyors, and pumps.
