Job summary

Golden State Foods in Conyers, GA is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You will support warehouse, yard, and production material movement, operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, manage inventory, and assist with shipping and receiving.

You’ll read batch pick sheets, load and unload, connect railcars, maintain FIFO records, and uphold safety standards in varied indoor/outdoor conditions with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator experience required; certification preferred.
• Ability to read shipping documents and safety instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors.
• Strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts to move materials
• Read batch pick sheets and bills of lading
• Load/unload trucks and railcars
• Connect/disconnect railcars and tankers
• Support recycling and yard organization
• Maintain FIFO and inventory documentation
• Clean spills and follow lockout/tagout procedures
