Job summary

KIK Consumer Products in Salem, VA seeks a Clamp Truck Operator on 2nd Shift (4:00 pm–2:30 am Mon–Thu, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm Fri with weekends as needed). You’ll move materials, operate forklifts, and perform basic inventory tasks in a GMP-compliant facility. Hourly rate is $21.63 with a $1.00 shift differential for hours after 1st shift.

Emphasis on safety and teamwork. The role requires forklift experience, certification or ability to obtain it, and the ability to read shipping docs and inventory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Ability to read shipping documents, labels, and inventory records.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and stage raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Load and unload trailers and place inventory into proper locations.
• Perform basic inventory transactions using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Conduct visual quality inspections of finished goods prior to shipment.
• Re-stack, wrap, or secure pallets to maintain safe loads and prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S, GMP, and housekeeping standards.
• Report safety concerns, damaged product, equipment issues, or near misses.
