Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Fork Lift Operator for 2nd shift Receiving at our North Brunswick Township facility in New Jersey. Pay is $20.00 per hour, with shift from 3:45 pm to 12:15 am. Responsibilities include loading, shipping, receiving, and inventory control using RF scanning.

The role requires forklift experience, basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the stamina to stand and walk during the shift. Benefits and full-time opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years forklift operating experience
• Basic computer skills
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Able to stand/walk for long durations
• Vision to differentiate colors and depth
• Able to climb and kneel
• Exposure to dust and loud noises

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products
• Operate technical equipment and optimize loading for efficient logistics
• Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy
• Scan and process materials accurately and timely to ensure customer satisfaction
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards
• Perform cycle counts as required
• Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped and load material on outbound delivery trucks
• Inspect and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Identify safety hazards in the workplace
• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods
