Worthington Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a reliable Receiving Forklift Operator for our New Jersey warehouse. The role focuses on unloading shipments, verifying materials, and maintaining accurate inventory using tablets, WMS, and RF scanners.

The position requires forklift experience and attention to detail, with 1st and 2nd shift options (6am–2:30pm and 1:30pm–9:30pm). 1st shift pays $20/hr; 2nd shift adds $2 differential.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift operation experience required; certification preferred.
• Safely operate material handling equipment in a warehouse.
• Read and interpret Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, and shipping documents.
• Enter receiving data using tablets and warehouse software.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; assist cycle counts and audits.
• Commitment to safety; able to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to unload, move, and store incoming materials.
• Receive and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Read, interpret, and verify Bills of Lading, packing lists, and shipping documents.
• Enter and update receiving information using tablets and warehouse systems.
• Use handheld RF scanners to process inventory transactions and maintain accuracy.
• Verify received quantities against orders and documentation.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate with supervisors, warehouse personnel, and transport providers.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
