Ryder is hiring Temporary Sit-Down Forklift Operating Material Handlers in Spring Hill, Tennessee — offering weekly pay and a career you can feel good about.

Position pays $20.33/hour with overtime at $30.50/hour plus a $1.25/hour second-shift differential; schedule is 2nd shift Mon-Fri 4:00 pm–12:30 am. Work includes loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation in clean, safe facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
