Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Spring Hill, Tennessee, is hiring Temporary Sit-Down Forklift Operators to support our distribution network.

You will operate sit-down forklifts, perform loading, picking, packing, shipping and cycle counting while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role offers weekly pay, paid training, safety gear provided, and a team‑oriented culture that values accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license/certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Able to work in a diverse environment and maintain accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving.
• Handle forklift operations and cycle counting as needed.
• Maintain accurate paperwork (picking sheets, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during production.
• Follow performance guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure safety and quality standards on every shift.
