Job summary

U.S. Lumber is hiring for a 2nd shift Material Handler in Claysburg, PA. The role runs 3:30pm–12:00am, Monday through Friday, with weekly pay and full benefits.

Prior forklift experience is a requirement and daily duties include unloading, order picking with a forklift, and using a handheld scanner. Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma and 1–2 years of forklift driving experience; strong teamwork and safety compliance are essential to succeed in this role within SBP's U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of hands-on forklift driving experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Neat and clean appearance and reliable team player.
• Strong safety and OSHA awareness as applicable to warehouse work.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and railroad cars and replenish warehouse locations.
• Operate forklift to pick and fill orders.
• Report shortages or damaged material promptly.
• Coordinate with sales to adjust shipments as needed.
• Use handheld scanner for receiving, picking, and loading tasks.
• Band, wrap, and prepare material for shipping; ensure safe weight distribution.
