Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Forklift Material Handler for the 2nd shift in Chatsworth, Illinois. The role focuses on safely operating forklifts and related equipment to move materials, support production, and maintain inventory accuracy in a warehouse and manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience driving forklifts preferred.
• At least six months of experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat and orderly work area with 5S standards.
• Deliver materials to work centers or staging areas to support production.
• Load/unload trucks and stock materials in racks as required.
• Enter inventory data into the computer and assist with physical inventories as needed.
• Complete all production documentation accurately and legibly.
