Job summary

Ferrara in Itasca, IL is seeking a 2nd shift Forklift Driver to transport products and materials, load/unload trailers, and maintain organized packaging areas. You will verify counts, participate in inventory processes, and operate a stretch-wrapper while complying with safety and GMP standards.

Expect working hours 2:30pm-10:30pm with potential overtime. The role includes moving materials, using SAP/Excel for inventory, and contributing to a clean, efficient production environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, write and read English.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Can safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to operate a stretch-wrapper.

Responsibilities

• Transport products, packaging and raw materials to and from production lines, packaging areas and trailers.
• Load or unload trailers and organize packaging/return areas.
• Picks and stages packaging and supplies at work sites.
• Receives materials from production and verifies information and quantity.
• Maintains inventory control in SAP/Excel and ships products.
