Job summary

Silent-Aire, a Johnson Controls division, is hiring for a Production Control Kitter/Forklift Driver in Gilbert, AZ. This role primarily operates forklifts to support kitting and production, loading/unloading materials and delivering them to designated locations on the floor.

The position requires forklift-related responsibilities, compliance with OSHA guidelines, and the stamina to handle heat and outdoor conditions. Overtime may be required; teamwork and initiative are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have a Valid US Driver License.
• Previous forklift certification preferred.
• Forklift spotter training.
• Operation of manual and electronic pallet jacks.
• Able to individually carry and move material up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Forklift Certification.
• Deliver fabricated palleted material to production floor using forklift.
• Properly dispose of material waste using forklift.
• Safely perform duties in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines.
• Load, unload, and move fabricated materials by hand or pallet jack.
• Sort and deliver fabricated materials to designated production locations.
• Verify fabricated material quantities are correct and meet visual acceptance criteria.
• Report discrepancies to lead or supervisor.
• Assist in inventory audits.
• Weigh fabricated material for disposal.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings.
• Overtime may be required.
• Work independently or in a team environment.
