Job summary

STS Group in Salem, Virginia is seeking a Shipping Receiving Fork Lift Operator (2nd shift) to support manufacturing operations for a new STS startup. Forklift experience is required and the role includes handling inbound/outbound shipments and inventory control.

You will work as part of a team to maintain FIFO, ensure safe forklift operation, and help keep production flowing. Candidates should be able to lift 25 pounds and work overtime, including weekends, as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory (FIFO) procedures.
• Maintain safe stock levels and ensure finished goods meet quality and packaging requirements.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments and disposition of materials.
• Inspect warehouse and equipment; request repairs as needed.
• Ensure forklift safety checks at shift start.
• Support production by stocking lines for even material flow.
• Read and comprehend operational work instructions.
• Able to lift 25 pounds overhead; stand long periods; overtime including weekends.
• Adhere to IATF requirements.
• Team-oriented with proactive work ethic.

Responsibilities
