Job summary

Staffing Network is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift in California. The role involves operating forklifts, receiving and unloading freight, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping duties.

The candidate should be forklift certified, pass background checks, and be able to work Monday–Friday, 2pm–10:30pm. Salary is $19 per hour with physical requirements typical of warehouse work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of warehouse operations experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operator experience.
• Previous experience in receiving, shipping, picking, packing, and inventory handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming freight using a forklift or power truck.
• Verify part numbers and quantities on received cargo.
• Inspect materials for defects on arrival.
• Receive and sort materials per established procedures.
• Scan barcodes to receive and track inventory.
• Transport pallets to designated warehouse locations.
• Stock and store materials using appropriate lifting equipment.
• Safely operate forklifts and related equipment during loading/unloading.
• Prepare orders for shipment and label packages.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement records.
