Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a forklift operator for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 4pm-12:30am) at our Illinois facility. You will load/unload, record item weights via RF, and perform daily equipment checks while adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of forklift experience, ability to lift 40 lbs, and flexibility to work weekends if required. We offer comprehensive benefits and a focus on safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in English.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -20F to 100F with PPE.
• Must lift at least 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Flexible schedule including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Position forklift under, over, or around loaded pallets and transport to designated areas.
• Record weight, counts, and condition of items via RF system.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand processes.
• Coordinate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety.
• Monitor battery charge and keep equipment at the charging station.
