Job summary

Leon Farmer and Company is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (1:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.) in our beverage warehouse. The role focuses on shipping, receiving, and forklift operation to efficiently move product and manage inventory.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, rotating stock, loading trailers, repackaging damaged items, and maintaining a safe workspace. Candidates should have a HS diploma, valid license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and be flexible for holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages and goods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to obtain an Alcohol Permit.

Responsibilities

• Unload products from supplier breweries and place packages into inventory.
• Rotate current inventory in controlled environment warehouse.
• Load company trailers according to sales order.
• Unload company trailer upon their return to the warehouse.
• Repack damaged packages to deliver to the customer.
• Prepare pallet for the next day.
• Build, wrap, and mark all bulk route orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, local, state and federal laws.
• Be available for additional duties as needed.
