Job summary

SBA Group is hiring a Forklift Operator for our North Carolina facility operating on the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm). The role supports warehouse operations by safely handling materials and moving goods with a forklift, ensuring timely, quality cargo handling and inventory organization.

We value safety, reliability, and teamwork. Candidates should have forklift experience, be able to pass screening, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• 1–2 years of forklift operator experience.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production and cargo transportation by forklift.
• Check the forklift condition before starting work.
• Unload and load using forklift and manual methods as needed.
• Safely transport cargo and perform quality checks.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the workspace.
• Operate forklift following traffic rules and safety procedures.
• Maintain forklift and perform routine technical services.

SBA Home North Carolina - The first production facility in the USA by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from EU member in Lithuania, with operations starting in late 2025. Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers. It will be a highly robotic and automated factory with products reaching millions of homes in the US. Today we are looking for a Forklift operator to support warehouse operations by safely operating equipment and handling materials efficiently. (2nd shift 2pm-10pm)

Key Responsibilities

• To carry out production and other cargo transportation by forklift
• Before starting work, check the technical condition of the forklift
• Checks whether other employees involved in the operations are ready for work
• Performs the scheduled tasks of the day: unloading and loading works by hand and truck
• Ensures timely and high-quality work: safely transport, quality checks of cargo, informs manager of any low-quality product.
• Stacks and organizes products according to inventory standards
• Ensures a safe work environment by driving a forklift truck in accordance with road/warehouse traffic rules
• Maintains cleanliness and order in the workplace
• Maintains the forklift truck and performs high-quality technical services
• Maintains positive working relationships and good communication with co-workers and management
• In the event of an emergency, behaves in accordance with approved safety instructions, warning signs, and use of an evacuation plan

We believe you

• Having a current forklift certification/license is an advantage
• The ability to perform functions in a safe manner at all times
• Have at least 1-2 years of experience as forklift operator.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
