Greif, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to perform routine logistics tasks, including moving materials, receiving goods, and packing shipments.

The role runs from 2:50 pm to 11:00 pm with a focus on accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a manufacturing/logistics environment. Responsibilities include tracking shipments, loading/unloading, preparing orders, labeling, and maintaining orderly shipping areas.

Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW: Under close supervision, performs routine logistics operations activities, including: moving and storing materials/products using a combination of manual labor and low complexity machinery/equipment (e.g., forklifts and conveyors); receiving/inspecting goods and verifying items against the shipment record; gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method; and/or recording received and shipped items.

2nd Shift: 2:50 pm to 11:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and track shipments.


• Load or unload shipments in delivery trucks.


• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $15.82 - $25.24annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between19.10 to19.10. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
