Job summary

Rea Magnet Wire is seeking a production associate for material handling and processing in a multi-furnace environment. You will anneal, purge, and load products through aluminum and bell furnaces, then inspect, package, and ship finished goods.

You will also perform quality checks, cycle counts, and on-the-job training to ensure safety and efficiency. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and the ability to read process sheets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret process sheets and other production documents.
• Ability to adjust to equipment/tools and modifications for continuous improvement.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to train and support new employees until full qualification.

Responsibilities

• Move completed product to Shipping area and move WIP to next process or storage.
• Load aluminum furnace with product to be annealed; record data and start cycle.
• Set up bell furnace and perform nitrogen purge when required.
• Operate bell furnace and annealing cycle; unload and cool product; prepare for next cycle.
• Visually inspect products for stains, discoloration, and conformity to order requirements.
• Observe safety rules and safe work practices in all activities.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
• Unload raw materials and perform visual inspections during receiving; store items and sign packing lists.
• Package finished products for shipment and complete shipping tallies; stage orders.
• Load finished product onto trucks and ensure documentation accompanies shipment.
• Perform weekly cycle counts with RF Gun; participate in training and knowledge transfer.
