Job summary

Anderson Aluminum Corporation is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, and in-plant material movement. The role prioritizes moving materials for production and includes loading and unloading from vehicles, operating a telehandler or forklift, and ensuring items are secured for transport.

Candidates should be comfortable with manual labor, have good reading of tape measures, and be able to work a 1st shift Mon-Fri from 6:30am to 3:00pm, with potential overtime or

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a forklift/telehandler safely and efficiently.
• Experience with power tools and basic carpentry is preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to read measurements and use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department managers to deliver materials for production.
• Load/unload materials and finished products from vehicles.
• Operate forklift/telehandler with clamps, booms, and rigging straps.
• Ensure shipments are secure before departure and organize materials in yard/shop.
• Assist with documentation and inventory verification for shipped and received items.
• Communicate with supervisors to maximize production and maintain safety procedures.
• Support other shop tasks as needed to meet production goals.
