Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a 2nd shift Material Handler/Forklift Operator for our Richmond, KY plant. You will ensure safe operation of lifting devices, move materials, and support our production flow by stocking and transporting items as required.

Responsibilities include observing safety standards, participating in training, and assisting with continuous improvement efforts. The role requires English fluency, a high school diploma or GED, and prior material handling experience is

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely perform job duties.
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to follow procedures.
• Willingness to participate in training and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Observe and comply with safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Move forks, lifting platform, and materials using lifting devices including forklifts.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers as needed.
• Load/unload materials onto pallets and transport to designated areas.
• Rotate through all job responsibilities to support plant flow.
