Job summary

Adecco USA in Miamisburg, OH is hiring a Material Handler for 2nd shift (2PM-10PM). You will support warehouse operations handling raw materials and finished goods and ensure accurate documentation and inventory control.

Responsibilities include receiving and verifying materials, moving with turret trucks and other equipment, picking orders for shipment, maintaining 5S standards, and assisting team members to meet department goals. Flexibility and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years material handling experience preferred; turret truck experience required.
• Proficiency with inventory control systems and basic math.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (Order Picker, Swing Reach, Forklift, Pallet Trucks, Clamp Truck); must obtain Material Handling License.
• Strong interpersonal communication and good judgment working with all levels of personnel.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, reach, bend; lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, verify, store, and distribute raw materials and finished goods according to guidelines and specifications.
• Process and maintain documentation via PC and handwritten records; maintain inventory per guidelines.
• Use material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials; prepare orders for shipment.
• Respond to inter-company requests for materials and counts; assist teammates in solving issues.
• Train and support team members in problem-solving and achieving goals.
• Continuously review processes to improve quality, reduce waste, and eliminate non-value-added work.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain 5S standards; assist other functions as needed.
