Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Material Handler/Warehouse Associate in Miamisburg, OH on the 2nd shift (2 PM–10 PM). You will manage the main receiving dock, identify, verify, store and distribute raw materials and finished goods, prepare orders for shipment, and maintain accurate documentation.

Requires a HS/GED and 2+ years in material handling with proficiency in inventory systems and safe operation of equipment (Order Picker, Forklift, Swing Reach, Hand Trucks, Pallet Trucks, Clamp Truck).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in material handling and powered equipment operation preferred.
• Proficiency with inventory control systems and basic math calculations.
• Demonstrated skill and safety in operating material handling equipment (Order Picker, Swing Reach, Forklift, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal communication and ability to work with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Working the main receiving dock and managing the final disposition of products.
• Receipt, identification, verification, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
• Processing and maintaining related documentation via PC and handwritten records.
• Using material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials; preparing orders for shipment.
• Training, assisting, and supporting team members; identifying process improvements.
