Urban Farmer is seeking a Forklift Driver to move goods and pallets safely within our food manufacturing facility. Besides driving forklifts, you will perform warehouse duties such as packing shipments and checking inventories, while adhering to GMP, Food Safety, and plant safety rules.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and reliable execution of loading/unloading tasks. You will work in a fast-paced environment and report to the warehouse supervisor.

• Must be at least 18 years old to work in food manufacturing environment.
• Must pass certification from Urban Farmer.
• Effective communication skills are needed to support forklift team.
• Must follow safety policies and GMP/OSHA requirements.
• Good hand/eye coordination and motor skills to operate machinery safely.

JOBSUMMARY:

ForkliftDriverisresponsibleformovinggoods,loadedpalletsandequipmentsafelyandsecurely.Inadditiontodriving forklifts, a Forklift Driver also has a range of other warehouse duties such as packaging shipments or checking inventories.

• AllstaffareresponsibleforCompliancewithallGMP,FoodSafetyandPlantSafetyruleswhile in the processing facility.Staff are encouraged to report Food Safety and Quality concerns immediately to their supervisors and Quality representatives on shift.

QUALIFICATIONREQUIREMENTS:

Qualifiedindividualsmustbe atleast18yearsoldtoworkinthefoodmanufacturingenvironment.Abilitytofollowwork instruction and keep pace of shipping department is required.Individual must have thorough understanding of shipping policies and procedures. Effective communication skills are needed to support forklift team.This position requires incumbenttohavekeenattentiontodetailandexperienceworkinginateam-oriented,collaborativeenvironment.Individual will need to pass certification from Urban Farmer. The individual must be able to perform each essential job duty and responsibility satisfactorily.Individual must have good hand/eye coordination and excellent motor skills to operate necessary machinery safely.
