Job summary

CJ Schwan's is hiring for a full-time role in a food manufacturing setting. You will unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include material inspection, waste documentation, and notifying supervisors of any issues while adhering to GMP, USDA, OSHA, and company policies. Strong dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Flexible to rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throw out or fix as necessary; document waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, including GMP and safety requirements.
