Job summary

The Krusteaz Company in Effingham, IL is seeking a Second Shift Production Operator to support packaging of dry food products, operate machinery, perform data entry, and assist with loading and unloading. This role requires physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds and using a forklift, on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities include maintaining food safety and GMP standards, recording production data, coordinating with the prior shift, and performing sanitation tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous food processing or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Data collection and reporting of production information and KPI data.
• Operate packaging equipment and assist with loading/unloading tasks.
• Maintain GMP, food safety and hygiene standards in processing areas.
• Coordinate with the previous shift to ensure continuity of production.
• Perform sanitation and routine maintenance as directed.
