Job summary

Kroger Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, repair machinery, inspect equipment, and support plant projects. You will work safely to enhance Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) and uphold our Customer 1st strategy, embodying Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

You will install, maintain, and repair machinery, use machine tools to fabricate parts, and participate in the plant's predictive maintenance

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.
Proficient mechanical knowledge across electrical, welding and fabrication, utilities, and basic PLCs.
Must be 18+ with a strong sense of urgency during downtime.
Team player with reliability and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, structures, pipes, and electrical systems.
Set up and use machine tools (lathe, grinder, drill press, milling) to repair or fabricate parts.
Troubleshoot issues and perform emergency tasks as required.
Maintain a clean and orderly maintenance area and document work orders.
