Job summary

HES is a premier provider of facilities management services focused on educational institutions. This Full-Time, 2nd Shift custodial position in Durham, NC requires sweeping, dusting, mopping, and general cleaning of facilities including restrooms and entryways.

The role reports to the Account Manager and offers comprehensive benefits. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma (preferred but not required) and cleaning experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 25 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally; extensive walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and clean restrooms.
• Polish outside area within 10 feet of entryways; wash windows.
• Remove trash and recycling; maintain cleanliness of desks and fixtures.
• Follow directions from custodial supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.
